    pfSense will use PBI (push button installer) and updated some modules.

  2. Interesting – so PC-BSD and pfSense are converging, at least for software management?

    It seems so.

    Since the dependency hell is not a common issue on such a focused product(neither on other BSDs), i couldn’t figure out what are the other advantages on adopting PBI other than the deltas, signed packages and the “install as common user(in some cases, not so intersting)”.
