DragonFly 3.0.2 out

DragonFly 3.0.2 is out, and you can update (see /usr/src/UPDATING) an existing install or download a new one.  This release turns off I/O APIC when booting in a VM because it caused issues for some users.

  1. Die says:

    Hi Justin,
any chances the files over CD/DVD could be optimized for sequential reading?

  2. If there’s a way to do that, I don’t know what it is. Why would you want to? I doubt it would affect the speed of reading from the physical medium, which is what I assume your goal is.
