pf 4.4 ready for testing

Jan Lentfer’s got the 4.4 version of pf ready for testing.  Filtering, queuing, redirection, NAT – all working.  It has to be built into your kernel, though that’s all of 3 lines of work.  Download his branch and try it.

  1. Stephane Russell says:

I would like to test it. I actually have a locally compiled 2.8.2 version of DFBSD on my home server (ok to experiment on it, it is not critical and I have some backups). Is this branch stable enough to remain on a server?

  2. Justin says:

Mmmmaybe. I think he’s patching against current, not 2.8, so it may not apply cleanly. Ask Jan on IRC – ‘lentferj’ on EFNet #dragonflybsd.
