Development machine upgrade

The system leaf.dragonflybsd.org, where developer accounts are located, has had a significant bump in CPU and RAM, and has the newest scripts for automated vkernel setup.

As always, leaf accounts are available for anyone who wants to develop something on DragonFly, independent of commit access.

  1. No Namer says:

    2GB RAM is a “significant bump”? you’re kidding…

  2. I find it entertaining when people dismiss 2G of RAM. I recall talking to a freelance graphic artist in 1995 or so who was telling me about how he was saving up money so he could get 256 megabytes of RAM for Photoshop, and how great it could be. Nowadays, 256M sticks get thrown out.
